Itchi Fleischer (born 1993, Hanover region), is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice combines drag, sculpture, and performance. From a queer perspective, their work concentrates on marginalisation and on how certain groups become othered.
Drawing on myths, monsters, and figures like aliens, they retell suppressed or demonized stories, often from religious traditions or mythology, to expose patriarchal structures and craft alternative stories where queer identities are celebrated rather than excluded. Fleischer embraces the bizarre and creates spaces where fixed oppositions soften, allowing new understandings of identity and nature to emerge.
Itchi Fleischer (geb.
